Each year, 25% of all people die from a chronic disease (hypertension, diabetes, cholesterol, angina, asthma…). So much of that could be avoided if people were aware of their condition and followed their doctor's prescription and lifestyle recommendations. Unfortunately they don’t due to a lack of awareness of danger, unwillingness to change lifestyle,  and costs to follow treatment (lifelong).

Elfie is a disruptive disease prevention and management application that gamifies self-monitoring and supports patients worldwide with AI driven coaching. It is promoted by 10,000s of doctors and endorsed by multiple healthcare leaders worldwide.

In collaboration with Willis Towers Watson, a renowned global advisory, broking, and solutions company, we are embarking on an exciting venture to establish a thriving business in the field of wellness. Together with WTW, we will create a unique solution, ElfieWorks, available exclusively to WTW clients and partners that will leverage the full spectrum of WTW expertise and assets combined with a premium version of Elfie that will include the best in breed of available technology and gamification.

As we pioneer this initiative, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Alliance Director to lead our partnership efforts and drive strategic growth.

ABOUT THE ROLE


As the Alliance Director (Business Unit Director), you will play a pivotal role in managing the day-to-day partnership with Willis Towers Watson, overseeing value communication, reporting across the organization and co-own the business targets of the venture with the WTW counterparts. You will be fully responsible for ensuring the successful execution of our joint vision. Additionally, you will hire, lead and manage global and local teams, accountable for creating and delivering the programs sold to WTW customers through the year.


Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day partnership activities between our company and Willis Towers Watson.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at Willis Towers Watson and other relevant external partners.
  • Globally manage the structure and profiles accountable for creating and constantly improving the programs and events that we organize for our clients.
  • Own the business targets of the venture and act accordingly to meet and exceed those targets. This includes personally participating in pitching and meeting sales targets with our customers globally.
  • Focus on demonstrating impact through data. This includes conceiving and delivering health and cost impact reports to our customers.
  • Participate in the pricing strategy of our product , focused on reflecting our health and cost impact in our pricing.  
  • Establish effective communication channels and reporting mechanisms to ensure seamless collaboration and value delivery.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the teams, promoting innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to identify strategic opportunities and risks.


Requirements:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Health & Benefits within a Health Insurer or Health Insurance Broker, with a proven track record of success in a multi-country role.
  • Direct experience in selling digital disease/health/wellness programs for a minimum of 100,000 lives covered.
  • Native-level fluency in English, with exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry, including current trends and challenges.
  • Demonstrated experience in managing strategic partnerships, preferably with a global scope.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire teams, driving collaboration and achieving business goals.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Collaborative, emphasizing the importance of building strong relationships and partnerships with external alliance stakeholders and internal stakeholders.
  • Strategic, focusing on the long-term goals and vision of the alliance.

What is the package & terms

  • Global contract with USD salary;
  • Bonus: quarterly performance based on KPIs  vs. objectives;
  • Benefits: 14 days of paid-vacation, healthcare coverage (starts after probation);
  • Job location: Singapore, 3 days per week in-office with regional travels.
