About the role
We are hiring a creative and dynamic health & wellness communication expert to join our early-stage venture as full-time Patient Lifecycle Mobile Marketing Director.
Reporting to the C-Suite, you will create personalized and interactive patient communication protocols across all digital touchpoints and channels to help individuals remain engaged with the self-monitoring of their chronic diseases.
You are a strong editor and content strategist, a digital behavior expert, and a multi-tasker who can manage several projects at once. You have a passion for health and wellness, and a desire to make a lasting impact on people through engaging experiences such as gamified health plans, personalized content, AI-based communication, and human coaching.
You are quick to learn new technologies, follow content best practices, and enjoy collaborating with team members across various disciplines, from academia to product design. You are hands-on and detailed-oriented. You are data-driven and leverage automation to optimize and build for scale.

Responsibilities
The role is ultimately accountable for patient engagement and retention through communication plans, personalized experiences, trigger-based alerts, and notifications.
Define Elfie’s overall patient communication strategy across all digital touchpoints: in-app messaging, push notifications, SMS, email, live chat, and calls.
Design patient communication plans based on user profiles, health triggers, and overall content strategy.
Write, test, and seek out best practices for creating in-app messaging, notifications, and email communications that increase patient engagement and adherence to his plan.
Leverage user data platforms and automation tools to test and improve continuously on content performance.
Partner with internal and external medical affairs and clinical experts to ensure compliance with local health guidelines.
Leverage local translators and internal team for global roll-out.
Manage and edit internal and freelance visual content creators.
Create and maintain Elfie copy style guides for all patient communications.
Maintain Elfie’s voice across all patient touchpoints including social media, web, and app stores.
Present key performance results and improvement recommendations to the senior leadership.
Qualifications
5+ years of digital content experience;
Experience using large-scale/automated communication platforms for email, app notifications, SMS, social media.
Superior grammar and copyediting skills with great attention to detail.
Basic level of image editing using Photoshop or GIMP.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technical, remote, and mission-focus environment.
Portfolio of UX-focused writing samples and style guidelines.
